Here are 5 Things We Learned about Mario.

What made you...you?

I’d say that my life experiences have shaped me into who I am today, from growing up in Bogotá to pursue my dream of moving to Europe to the influence my loved ones have had in my life.

When are you happiest?

I’m the happiest drawing and doing my thing, but also when I’m in the company of my loved ones or when I’m surrounded by Nature, I consider myself very lucky to have had the opportunity of doing it all quite recently when I went back to visit my family.

Would you rather have a muse or be a muse?

I used to dream about being someone’s Muse but the older I get, the more I realize that if you’re a creative, you have the opportunity to be (a muse) and that inspiration can come from many sources, it’s not an external force that must be waited upon, but something that can be exercised and explored throughout one’s life journey.

Who do you admire?

First and foremost my parents, my Mom and Dad, who I owe much to what I have now and my older sister and brother. I admire their perseverance and discipline. I’ve also had the luck of befriending amazingly talented people in several areas like singing, music, architecture and of course art… I don’t think I could sum it up in a small list.

What is important?

My family and loved ones, being healthy, the World, finding your own purpose in life, I’d say Life itself is important, living a dignified life is important and creating a life that is worth living for yourself and others is important, at least in my opinion.
